The WMHDHA board has selected and awarded two recipients of the WMHDHA Outstanding Student Award for 2026.
NICOLE GARCIA from HOSTOS CC
and ADISYN SOMERS from BROOME CC
received their awards on May 20, 2026. Both will receive their ADHA dues paid for one year in December , the transition from ADHA Student Member to ADHA Professional Member. Both new members to our Profession will also have the opportunity to be WMHDHA Junior Delegates at the NYDHA Empire Conference Nov . 6-8, 2026 In Hauppauge, NY . We welcome them into our profession and look forward to their future contributions .
